The Goa Panchayat Election Results 2022, which were declared on Friday brought ecstatic jubilations for some, and heartbreaks for others. The counting of votes in the August 10 panchayat election started at 8 am. A large number of candidates and their supporters gathered at the counting centres. The mood was upbeat as winning candidates were garlanded and various panels found that they had emerged victorious.
Bardez and Ponda had the highest of three counting centres, Pernem had two counting centres while there was one counting centre each in Mormugao, Canacona, Quepem, Dharbandoara, Tiswadi, Sattari Bichlim, and Salcete. Counting took place at a brisk pace. Here are the results that were declared during the morning session on Friday.
