The Goa Pradesh Mahila Congress staged a “Justice March” in Panaji, protesting the rising incidents of crimes against women and minors in the state. The march began from Congress House and drew participation from party leaders and workers.
Mahila Congress President Pratiksha Narulkar Khalap raised concerns over the recent Curchorem sex scandal, allegedly involving the son of a councillor. She called for strict action and accountability in cases of crimes against women.

Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) President Amit Patkar also joined the protest and spoke on the issue, demanding justice and transparency in the investigation.
Meanwhile, Patkar alleged that Soham Sushant Naik, son of councillor Sushant Naik, had links with the BJP, presenting photographs purportedly showing him with BJP Goa President Damu Naik.
Earlier, Damu Naik had denied any such association, stating that Sushant Naik was not even a primary member of the party.
