PANJIM: Goa witnessed a growth of 35 per cent in Goods and Services Tax (GST) collection for the month of February, compared to the previous year.
According to the Union Finance Ministry, Goa’s Goods and Services Tax revenue collection for the month of February stood at Rs 493 crore, which is 35 per cent more as compared to the collection of February 2022. Last year, the revenue collection during the month was Rs 364 crore.
Goa’s Goods and Services Tax revenue collection had witnessed a drop in the month of November and December 2022 and January 2023, compared to its previous years during the same period.
