Addressing a press conference at the Congress office in the presence of senior spokesman and national media panelist Trajano D’Mello and three former AAP women candidates, Lamba said Goans were being fooled with the offer of freebies even as the fact remained that the Delhi governance was a failed model.

Lamba alleged that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is touring different States during COVID-19 pandemic while, people in the national capital are facing water crisis and suffering since the last few years. Kejriwal is the only Chief Minister in the country who, she said, is touring different States during pandemic on BJP funds by neglecting Delhi.

Lamba said Goa belongs to people of the State and urged them not to fall prey to the AAP model of governance but to support true local leaders to govern the touristic State.

The AICC spokesperson alleged that after ruining Delhi, Kejriwal is now eying Goa. AAP is the ‘B’ team of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and is trying to divide the votes of the Congress in the State and implement the BJP’s agenda.

Lamba said the fight in the ensuing Goa Assembly elections is between the Congress and BJP and therefore the latter are sending Kejriwal to experiment and promoting its ‘B’ team (AAP) in the State.
