I will aim to perform better in the upcoming tournaments”, said Tanisha, delighted after pocketing the doubles Gold. Tanisha after her good performances has brightened her chances of getting selected for the Asian Championships.
“My target is to be Women’s number one shuttler and win an Olympic Gold. It is a long journey but I am working really hard to reach that level”, she added.
“Tanisha is working hard. She is in the X and carries her books along with her. This season, she will play till December and then focus on her Boards till March after which she will be back in practice at her academy”, added Tanisha’s father and mentor, Clifford Crasto, who is often seen accompanying Tanisha on the tours.
“Our Congratulations to Tanisha. She is a doubles specialist and plays really well. In her first ever tournament in Goa, she gave a tough fight to several senior players in the Goan circuit and within a short time is performing exceptionally well at the National level. Her career graph is moving incredibly fast. Tanisha is mature, polite, focused and has a good temperament. We are confident she will get selected for the Asian Badminton championships now. It is a proud moment for all of us. We wish her success. May all her dreams and aspirations come true”, said Sandeep Heble, the Goa Badminton Association Secretary in a congratulatory message.
