PONDA: Governor Mrudulha Sinha emphasised that women play important roles in the formation of the society and their contribution should not be forgotten by the society.
Speaking as the chief guest at Mahila Melavaa organised by Mhadavrao Dhavlikar Trust, she said women should be credited for connecting two families – that of her husband and her parents and contributes a lot throughout their lives for the development of the family and welfare of children.
PWD Minister Sudin Dhavlikar said Goa government is the only State that provided 100 per cent filtered water to people and that all women in their household should use water judiciously and prevent waste of water, as the treatment involves a heavy cost.
