VASCO: Deputy Collector of Mormugao Paresh Phaldessai has given an order to remove all the illegal hoardings, banners from Mormugao taluka area which doesn’t have necessary permissions from the concerned local authorities.
The decision was taken at a joint meeting called by Deputy Collector Phaldessai with the traffic police, Mormugao mamlatdar and Mormugao Municipal Council officials. During the meet, it was observed by the officials that the Port town and other places from the Mormugao taluka are flooded with many illegal banners and hoardings, which give an ugly sight for the commuters.
A source further informed that the inspection in this regards was done by the authorities and shortly the illegal banners and hoardings will be razed.
