PANJIM: Goa University (GU) will organise a placement fair on May 4 for its students and affiliated colleges.
Speaking to Herald, a GU official said, “This placement fair is happening in collaboration with Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) and is for students currently in the final year of under-graduate and postgraduate courses from colleges which are currently affiliated with the university. The timing is from 10 am to 5 pm.”
The fair will be held at the university’s Arts faculty block and students from various faculties can register free of cost.
A GU circular states, “Final year post graduate students of Goa University and under graduate students in affiliated colleges studying BA, BSc and BCom, BCA, BBA, BSc (Computer Science) will be available under one roof for companies to take care of their employment needs. Engineering and pharmacy students are likely to attend if IT and Pharma companies participate in the fair.”
Registration of companies for the fair is free of charge and companies desiring to participate are requested to register online on the University website before April 28.
The list of companies registered with the University for the placement fair before April 28 will be displayed on the university website.
