PANJIM: For dissemination of the issues under the ambit of India’s Presidency on G20, Goa University has begun holding ‘G20 University Connect’ lecture series for students at its campus, Taleigao plateau.
On Tuesday, Prof Arvind Kumar, Centre for Canadian, United States and Latin American Studies at JNU, Delhi delivered the lecture where he enlightened students about different aspects of G20 and India’s Presidency on G20. This outreach programme is being organised jointly by the Ministry of External Affairs, Research and Information Systems and School of International and Area Studies (SIAS) at the Goa University.
On the occasion, Vice Chancellor of Goa University Prof Harilal Menon, Assistant Professor at SIAS Dr Dattesh D Parulekar and Associate professor at RIS Dr Priyadarshi Dash also addressed the students.
Dean SIAS, Prof Aparajita Gangopadhyay informed that along with lecture series, Goa University will hold different programmes under ‘G20 University Connect’.
