GU urged to postpone BA LLB, LLB exams in view of National Games

PANJIM: The State unit of National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) has urged the Goa University Vice Chancellor to postpone BA LLB and LLB examinations in view of 37thNational Games starting in the State from October 26.

In a letter to the Vice Chancellor, NSUI State president Naushad Chowdhari said that significant number of students are also athletes, coaches or volunteers for the upcoming National Games, which coincides with the dates of the law examinations starting from October 25.

Considering the dedication and hard work put in by these students towards both, their academic pursuits and their roles in the National Games, Chowdhari said it was imperative to request for postponement of the BALLB and LLB examinations to a more suitable date. This would not only enable the students to perform at their best in the examinations but also uphold the spirit of inclusivity and support the athletes participating in the prestigious sporting event.
