Handicapped knocked down at Porvorim

A 48-year-old handicapped person was injured, after he knocked down by a mini bus near Chodankar Hospital at Porvorim on Monday morning.
According to Porvorim police, the accident occurred when Anil Naik was crossing the road near Chodankar hospital at about 10.40 am. The mini bus (GA-04-T-2999), which was proceeding from Panjim towards Mapusa knocked down Naik, who sustained minor injuries.
Naik was rushed to GMC Hospital at Bambolim. Police have registered the case of accident and Police Head Constable Ulhas Narvekar is investigating the case.
