PANJIM: Sarthak Silk Handloom welfare Society New Delhi, a non-government organization working for the development of poor weavers and handicraft artisans, is organizing an exhibition cum sale at Club National, Panjim from 10 am to 9 pm until December 9, 2013.
On display are designer Kashmiri sari for Rs 2500; shawls costing upto Rs 7500; Lucknow Chikan Kurtis for Rs 400 to 1,500; casual khadi shirts from Rs 250 to 400; Jaipuri and Haryana bed cover for upto Rs 1250. Also available are a variety of handloom products including Mulbarys silk sari, Crepe silk sari, Bagh print and Dabu print, Pigment prints, Sari, Azrak Prints Sari, Kosa Tilfi Work Sari, Bhagalpur Silk Sari and materials, dupatta, raw silk sari, Batik prints, Lucknow chikan, Kota Doria suits, Kashmiri designer silk sari and tops, Jaipuri kurti and tops as well as bed sheets, Banaras silk sari and Materials, gents khadi kurta and shirts.
Handicrafts on display include Polki Jewellery, Hyderabad pearls, Jaipur stone, Lakh Jewellery, Orissa painting and more.
