PANJIM: Thirteen beneficiaries of Central government health care schemes were left disheartened after they failed to have an interaction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Prime Minister on Thursday interacted with beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi PariYojana Kendra and those who received coronary stents and knee implants at subsidised rates from seven centers. Goa was amongst the centers shortlisted for the interaction with the Prime Minister.
Sources said that Goa was not part of the seven centers the PMO selected for interaction. “It was obvious for the beneficiaries to be disappointed. But they watched the programme,” sources said.
On Wednesday, students from Dr K B Hegdewar School shared their innovation with the Prime Minister through a video interaction in which they showcased a device which can help reduce road accident caused due to high beam light from the incoming car.
