Hindi keeps the nation united, says Khot

Canacona MLA Vijay Poi Khot said Hindi language keeps the nation integrated and many organizations and individuals like Lata Mangeshkar contributed immensely to develop and reach the language not only to every corner of the nation, but also in many other countries of the world.
Pai Khot was speaking at the inaugural function of one-day Hindi Workshop to teachers organized by Gomantak Rashtra Bhasa Vidyapeeth, Margao, at Ashwath Narayan Sabhagraha, Mokhard-Canacona, on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, Navodaya Vidyalaya Principal R S Nayak said languages are never hard to learn and if one can master a language, a person can control any other maters pertaining to that language.
Earlier, the function was inaugurated by Canacona MLA Vijay Poi Khot.
Others who spoke on the occasion are Saunstha President Mohandas Surlakar, S S Angle Higher Secondary School Principal Dr Narayan Dessai, Saunstha Treasurer Anil Pai, Secretary Vinayak Narvekar and Coordinator Shirish Pai.
A welcome song was presented by a group of students from Navodaya, Surlakar welcomed and introduced the dignitaries, while Shirish Pai proposed the vote of thanks.
