PANJIM: At a time when Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Ramkrishna Sudin Dhavalikar is facing stinging criticism for demanding a ban on pubs and bikinis in Goa, the right-wing Hindu organization Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has openly come out in support of the ban. It also dragged the former Congress government in and blamed them for allowing ‘drug, prostitution, alcohol and casino culture’ to flourish in the name of tourism.
