VASCO: The Mormugao Port Trust (MPT) has informed that the Mormugao Port Trust Hospital has been handed over to State Administration along with the doctors, paramedical staff and entire support staff on April 24.
The MPT press statement comes after the Office of the Collector and District Magistrate, South Goa issued a requisition order vide letter no 07/DMS/CORONA/ 2020/4290 dated April 24, directing Chief Medical Officer, MPT to handover the MPT hospital premises along with the doctors, para- medical and entire support staff of the hospital from April 24, 2021.
According to the Order, the hospital along with services of 3 medical officers, 6 nurses and 10 hospital attendants are now availed by public as the MPT Hospital is now made an Intermediate Step Down COVID Care Hospital from April 30.
