MAPUSA: Calangute police booked the owner of Mint Goa Hotel, located at Porbawado, Calangute, for failing to submit ‘C’ form of a foreigner residing in the hotel.
The matter came to light during a random check of hotels, wherein it was found that management of Mint Goa had not submitted the prescribed form of a foreign national who had stayed and checked out two days ago.
Calangute police have booked an offence against the hotel under Sections 7(1) and 14 of Foreigners Act 1946 for failing to submit information of the concern foreigner to Foreigners Branch Panjim.
