CURCHOREM: A hut belonging to one Antonetta Castinho from Igorjebhatt, Quepem was completely gutted in fire on Tuesday evening.
On being informed, Curchorem Fire Brigade rushed to the site and doused the fire.
According to Curchorem Fire Station Sub-Officer T R Gaonkar, the hut was situated just around two meters away from her main house which was used to store coconut husks and scrap materials.
Gaonkar estimated the total loss at Rs 15,000.
