PANJIM: The Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority (GCZMA) has granted permission to the Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) for erection of temporary structures at Miramar Beach on account of upcoming 52nd edition of International Film Festival of India (IFFI).
The IFFI 2021 scheduled from November 20-28, this year too will be held in a hybrid format. The organisers have announced that only fully vaccinated people will be allowed to attend the event as guests and delegates.
During its recent meeting, the GCZMA granted permission to ESG for erection of temporary structures at Miramar Beach for open air screening of films.
The ESG had sought permission from the coastal body for temporary structures, which they assured to remove by November 30.
While granting permission, the GCZMA has directed ESG to deposit Rs 50,000 as processing fees.
