The Margao Municipal Council (MMC) has taken serious note of repeated illegal garbage dumping along the Arlem-Ambaji Road near N.D. Naik Road and Tata Motors in Margao. Officials said unidentified persons have been disposing of large garbage bags on the roadside, creating unhygienic conditions and inconvenience for the public. The illegal activity has been captured on CCTV cameras installed in the area. The footage reportedly shows individuals dumping waste at the same spot despite existing rules and warnings. MMC has approached the Fatorda police station seeking strict action against those responsible. The council has urged police to identify offenders through CCTV evidence and initiate steps to prevent further violations.
