Jemima Goldsmith, the former wife of Pakistan’s former prime minister and cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan, has married Irish-Australian financier Cameron O’Reilly, according to reports.
Goldsmith, 52, and O’Reilly, 62, are believed to have exchanged wedding vows at an elegant ceremony over the weekend. The news was confirmed by Goldsmith’s family, with relatives sharing celebratory posts on social media.

Jemima Jones, the wife of Goldsmith’s brother Ben, shared a photograph with her husband on Instagram and wrote, “Celebrating Jemima and Cameron’s wedding, with my favourite date, what a happy day.”
Goldsmith and O’Reilly are understood to have met through their shared interests in film and documentaries. O’Reilly is an Irish-Australian businessman and financier, while Goldsmith has established a career in filmmaking, writing and media.
The marriage marks Goldsmith’s second. She was previously married to Imran Khan, with the couple tying the knot in 1995 before divorcing in 2004 after around nine years together. They have two sons, Sulaiman and Kasim.
Both of their sons have remained vocal about their father’s situation in Pakistan. Imran Khan has been imprisoned in Rawalpindi, and his sons have campaigned publicly over concerns surrounding his health and treatment.
Goldsmith herself has continued to speak out about her former husband’s incarceration. Last month, she used social media to highlight what she described as a human-rights emergency and to support the campaign being led by her sons.
In her statement, Goldsmith pointed to Khan’s longstanding connections with Britain, noting that he studied at Oxford University, played cricket there and later spent years playing county cricket in England. She also highlighted his charitable work in Pakistan, including the establishment of a free cancer hospital and a university.
Goldsmith said her sons, who are British citizens, had been forced to watch their father’s health deteriorate from thousands of miles away. She also claimed they had faced difficulties in visiting him, including being denied visas, while alleging that they had been publicly threatened with arrest.
Despite remaining connected to the controversy surrounding Khan, Goldsmith has built an independent career in the entertainment and publishing industries.
She is the founder of production company Instinct Productions and has written and produced a number of television and film projects. Among her notable credits is the cross-cultural romantic comedy ‘What’s Love Got to Do with It?’, directed by Indian filmmaker Shekhar Kapur.
Goldsmith has also worked with publications including The New Statesman and Vanity Fair. Over the years, she has been outspoken on human-rights issues and has maintained a public profile separate from her former husband’s political career.
Her marriage to O’Reilly comes more than two decades after her divorce from Khan, bringing a new chapter in her personal life even as she continues to publicly campaign on issues concerning her former husband and their children.
