PANJIM: The Women Police Station has launched a preliminary inquiry into a complaint filed against Minister Milind Naik over his involvement in an alleged sex scandal. Congress finally named the minister at a press conference on Wednesday and followed it up with a police complaint.
A huge group of supporters led by Congress vice president Sankalp Amonkar lodged a detailed complaint against the minister whilst he also submitted evidence to ascertain allegations leveled against him.
Police sources said they have launched an inquiry and decision on registration of FIR will be taken. The digital evidence will be sent for forensic examination.
