MARGAO: The Goa Police have advised the religious establishments and places of worship to install CCTVs at their premises.
The South Goa Superintendent Of Police Arvind Gawas has made these suggestions to the religious places to protect the religious places from further desecrations. The SP has advised the religious establishments to take steps to ensure that these places of worship are safe.
SP Arvind Gawas informed that the religious establishments have been advised to have an alarm system, a CCTV with a minimum three-day recording capacity and security guards from a registered agency who have to be equipped with a stick, emergency torches and a register. The gold, silver and other ornaments at the religious places have to be kept in the bank safe.
