MARGAO: The south Goa additional district and session judge Vincent D’Silva granted anticipatory bail to accused Satish Raikar, Mandop, Navelim. The judge directed Raikar to furnish a personal bond of Rs 10,000 and also a surety in like amount, while directing him to report to the Margao police station for 2 days.
In a complaint, Rajendra Mahadev Dessai, Belavista building, Margao, had alleged that on March 25, around 2 pm, six accused persons namely, Sunit, Lotlikar, Lalita S Raikar and husband Raikar, Bina Haldankar, Anjali Haldankar and one unknown person, all from Margao, with common intent, formed unlawful assembly, assaulted the complainant, trespassed in his house and threatened the complainant.
