PANJIM: Pointing out that the decision to use Ivermectin as prophylaxis for COVID patients aged above 18 in Goa was taken by a 10-member expert committee, Dean of GMC Dr Shivanand Bandekar, said they will refer to the same committee before responding to the High Court.
However, the Dean and Health Secretary Ravi Dhawan said they will refrain from commenting further as the matter is under sub judice. They confirmed that the distribution of the same has not yet started.

Regarding the implementation of the HC directive to not allow people without COVID negative certificates, Dhawan said the district collectors are implementing the same.
