MARGAO: The Konkan railway police are investigating the theft of gold ornaments worth Rs 4.25 crores from a goldsmith on a running train. The police team has visited several railway stations, including Canacona, to obtain CCTV footage. They are examining suspicious individuals who disembarked from the train on the day of the incident. Meanwhile, in another case, they are investigating a complaint registered by Veena Suvarna, who reported that an unknown person snatched her bag containing cash and gold ornaments worth Rs 10,15,650 while she was travelling on Train No 12134, Mangaluru-Mumbai Express.
