MARGAO: Twenty-seven-year-old one Sushil Kumar, a native of Jharkhand allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of weekly Trivandrum to Hazrat Nizamuddin train at platform number one of the Margao Railway Station, on Saturday.
Konkan Railway Police said the incident took place at around 7.10 pm. Police registered a case of unnatural death at Konkan Railway Police Station and ruled out foul play. The body has been shifted to the South Goa District Hospital, Margao for post-mortem.
Further investigation is in progress.
