Job generating RDA projects in pipeline

PANJIM: Minister for Rural Development Agency (RDA) and Ports, Jayesh Salgaonkar announced that Goa will have two ambitious projects soon under the RDA which would provide employment to locals, artisans and self-help groups. 
He was speaking as the chief guest at a panel discussion on “Livelihoods Security and Goa” organised by Goa Livelihoods Forum. Salgaonkar spoke about the proposed landmark projects — Goa Bazaar project and Global Village — which would be a place for locals to exhibit their works and for artisans from all over India to participate. 
Rajeev Dar from NASSCOM Foundation, Director of Caritas Fr Maverick Fernandes, chief of Goa Domestic Workers Union Aruna Chari and others were on the panel for discussion.
