PANJIM: The Supreme Court of Kenya Lady Justice Martha Koome on Saturday visited the Archives Department in Goa in a bid to understand the record management system.
Koome along with a delegation of Kenya Supreme Court visited the department and met the Director Dipak Bandekar. “The visit was to understand the record management system in Archives adopted by the Goa government,” the Department of Information and Publicity (DIP) said in a press release.
“The visit was also to explore historical relationship between Goa and Kenya,” it said further. The DIP said that Koome expressed her keen interest in the historical records of Mombasa available with State Archives.
