PANJIM: The sleuths of Anti Narcotics Cell (ANC) on Tuesday arrested a Kerala native for allegedly possessing narcotic substance suspected to be ganja, value of which is estimated around Rs 4 lakh.
The man identified as Hafzal Chandanaparambil, aged 42 years was caught red-handed during a raid at Arambol, while being in possession of four kgs of the narcotic substance suspected to be ganja.
He has been arrested under relevant Sections of the NDPS Act and has been remanded to three days of police custody by a local court.
