According to Vasco police, the father of the victims complained that on Thursday, at around 7 am, one Chandan Parab, 31, resident of Baina, Vasco, came with a white colour Maruti Omni van and attempted to kidnapped the two victims. Police have registered an offence under Section 363 read with Section 511 of IPC and Section 8 of Goa Children Act, against the accused; and are trying to track him down.

VASCO: An attempt to kidnap a 16-year-old girl and an 8-year-old boy has been foiled.
