Saleli: Neighbours of Vishranti Gawas said that her claims that she is the biological mother of the kidnapped month-old infant are fake.
Vishranti’s villagers in Saleli said they never heard any cries of a baby from Gawas’ house since the past one month. They said her family members had burst firecrackers a month back, saying that Vishranti had delivered a baby boy after four daughters.
The villagers said when some villagers had gone to Vishranti’s house to see the new born baby, she never showed the baby expressing fear over the COVID pandemic.
Many villagers alleged that they felt she was faking her pregnancy and also said Vishranti’s behaviour with the villagers was not cordial, and she hardly spoke to the villagers.
