Hemanth’s all-round brilliance earned him the Player of the Match award as Kochi displayed remarkable grit to seal a 3-2 victory.

Goa skipper Chirag Yadav opened strong with a super serve, while Kochi’s captain Erin led the charge from the outside zones. The Guardians initially capitalised on a super point after Erin’s service error, but Kochi’s combination of Amarinder Pal Singh and skipper Byron Keturakis at the block soon turned the tide.
Momentum shifted as Erin’s sharp attacks and Hemanth’s fiery serves powered Kochi ahead. Despite Goa’s spirited comeback through Rohit and substitute Vikram, the Spikers’ defensive stability, led by libero Alan Ashique, proved decisive in the fifth set.
