The Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd (KRCL) has announced special train services between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Margao Junction railway station to ease the surge in passenger traffic.
The special trains will operate on April 10 and 14, 2026. Train No. 01129 will depart from Mumbai CSMT at 00:20 hrs and is scheduled to reach Margao at 15:15 hrs the same day. In the return direction, Train No. 01130 will leave Margao at 16:00 hrs and arrive in Mumbai at 03:45 hrs the following day.

En route, the trains will halt at several key stations, including Dadar railway station, Panvel railway station, Ratnagiri railway station, Kudal railway station, and Thivim railway station, among others.
The move is aimed at accommodating additional passengers during the busy travel period and ensuring smoother connectivity along the Konkan route.
