“The Education Department was informed about the existing state of affairs time and again, but in vain, due to which students were compelled to take this step,” said PTA President Sawlo Gaonkar.
Meanwhile, Opposition Leader Manohar Parrikar, who was informed about the issue by the school PTA, has assured to bring the matter with the Director of Education. At present, there are 15 students studying in SSC, who are likely to face acute problems before facing their examination.
It is learnt that the students have to go to Government High School, Kerim, which is 15 kms from Kudchirem, to attend computer classes, which are not conducted in the school due to leakage of water into classroom.
Some classes are also conducted in the adjacent old house to accommodate the students.
