PANJIM: The Deputy Collector in charge of Flying Squad has directed the persons concerned to immediately stop land filling in low lying paddy field in the property bearing Survey No 163/9 at Goa Velha.
The deputy collector has further asked the persons concerned to explain as to why action should not be taken for restoration of said land, within three days from receipt of the order.
The order also states that if the persons concerned fail to produce the required documents, it will be presumed that they do not possess the same and the Town and Country Planning Department will take action.
