PANJIM: The North Goa District Legal Services Authority, Panjim, is organizing a legal awareness fete at Don Bosco oratory, Panjim on September 13, from 3 pm to 7 pm and on September 14, from 10 am to 7 pm.
The fete is being held for the first time in the State. There shall be talks by Adv Saresh Lotlikar on art of advocacy and by Adv E O Mendes on mediation.
There shall be a talk by Adv Subodh Kantak on Common Civil Code, skits by para legal volunteers and students on topics relating to domestic violence, sexual harassment, environment, child rights, drug and child trafficking.
There shall also be talks by Adv Albertina Almeida on domestic violence and sexual harassment, Adv Emidio Pinho on child rights and child trafficking, Architect Tallulah D’Silva on saving the environment, Kripa Rehabilitation Centre, Goa State AIDS Control Society, drawing competition for children, on the spot quiz and entertainment programme by advocates, staff and para legal volunteers.
