A woman was rescued from the river near Dona Paula Jetty after she encountered difficulty in the water.
Lifeguard Ramkrishna Harijan, who was on duty at the time, noticed the woman struggling and immediately rushed to her assistance. Acting swiftly, he entered the water and brought her safely back to shore.
