Canacona: The ongoing COVID-19 lockdown has broken their backbone of thousands of retail shop owners and entrepreneurs and unless the government comes with relief package they feel it is the end of the road for them.
A large number of them who are already in deep stress believe there is a serious question mark on whether they will be able to get back on their feet post the opening of the lockdown. “Most of us have lakhs of rupees credit facility in financial institutions, and with businesses collapsing, it is but natural for us to bank on the government to help us financially to revive our businesses” said a local entrepreneur.
