MARGAO: Locals and daily passengers have urged the new Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited (KTCL) Chairman Ulhas Tuenkar to inspect the conditions in and around the Margao KTC bus stand.
The passengers have complained about the quality of road at the entry and exit points of the bus stand and in front of the bus stand.
They have called for fixing of potholes that subject them to bumpy ride to the bus stand daily.
The passengers also said the bus stand is in need of a major face-lift and should have more friendly facilities, especially as the bus stand is frequented by thousands of persons per day, including those passengers who take the inter-state buses.
It may be recalled that plans to construct a new bus stand at KTC has been delayed for years.
