CANACONA: In an accident reported on Sunday night at Partagal, a Loliem resident who was behind the wheels of his car escaped unhurt while his car got totally damaged in the incident.
Sources said that the incident happened when Vishvesh Acharya driving his car was proceeding to his residence in Loliem from Canacona.
When he reached at Partagal at about 10 pm on Sunday evening, an oncoming vehicle suddenly strayed into his lane and to avoid a head on collision he steered his vehicle ultimately landing in the forest vegetation after hitting a roadside tree.
While his car suffered extensive damages, he luckily escaped with minor bruises.
