MARGAO: After the successful raid at Loutolim that unearthed water storage tanks a week ago, the flying squad, Margao and the Salcete excise office on Friday raided a premise in the village once again.
This time, however, a thorough search of the premises at Vanxem-Loutolim revealed nothing and the flying squad team returned to Margao without any major cache.
Sources in the know said that the flying squad acted on an information that huge stock of liquor was stored in the premises by a supporter of a candidate. Accordingly, the flying squad sought the assistance of the excise office and the police before proceeding to Vanxem .
