CANACONA: Some occupants in a car had a lucky escape after their vehicle went off the road along the NH17 at Khalwadem-Canacona late Thursday night.
According to sources, the car (KA-13-AB-7500) was proceeding from Karwar towards Canacona. While negotiating the slope down the Vodamol road, the car went down the NH17 after it reportedly hit an oncoming vehicle while negotiating the steep turn and landed into thick bushes.
The occupants reportedly helped themselves to come out and took medical care from unknown sources.
Canacona Police informed that no complaint was registered about the incident.
