Mahajans oppose hall on Gaondongrem temple land

CANACONA: Some registered mahajans of Shri Mallikarjun Devasthan of Gaondongrem have taken a strong objection to the proposed construction of a hall by the Tribal Welfare Department in the temple premises. Ramkrishna G Desai, a mahajan, said that the managing committee of the temple illegally passed a resolution giving permission to the Tribal Welfare Department for the construction of a hall on the temple property.
