Maina Villagers Approach Curtorim Police After Poles Installed by Priest Allegedly Damaged

Tension briefly prevailed in Maina on Friday night after villagers rushed to the Curtorim Police Station following an incident in which poles installed by a local priest were allegedly damaged by an individual.

According to local sources, residents took up the matter with the police after discovering the damage to the poles. The individual accused of causing the damage reportedly admitted responsibility during discussions held in the presence of villagers.

Sources said the person concerned assured the villagers that he would bear the expenses required to repair the damaged poles.
