SATTARI: Faced with the issue of voltage fluctuation, Maloli locals on Wednesday submitted a memorandum to the Valpoi Electricity Department demanding an immediate solution.
It is pertinent to note that following complaints from the locals, the Valpoi Electricity Department had started the work of installing a new transformer in the village.
“The department has installed two new electric poles for fixing a new transformer to solve the voltage issue. However, after installing the poles they stopped the work. For the past three years, department has left the work incomplete,” the locals complained.
The residents said they have complained to the department several times to complete the transformer work. The locals further said that they have also requested the local panch to look into the issue, but in vain.
“Whenever we use the mixer or geyser we face the voltage issue. We demand that Power Minister Nilesh Cabral solve the issue,” they demanded.
