The Bicholim Police have arrested Mushtaq Bepari for alleged cruelty to animals, after he was found illegally transporting a calf on his motorcycle from Chodna in Tiswadi.
According to officials, Bepari was caught riding with the calf tied to his two-wheeler, in a manner that posed serious danger to the animal’s safety and violated the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.
