Mandrem MLA Jit Arolkar has raised concerns about the lack of progress on the Tuem Electronic Manufacturing Cluster (EMC) project, noting that it has been stagnant for eight years. In a response, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant acknowledged the issue, explaining that 27% of the land acquisition for the approach road remains pending.
However, he assured that the government is in discussions with landowners and a tender for the road project is expected to be released by April, signaling a step forward in the development of the EMC
