PERNEM: The Mandrem Village panchayat on Tuesday stopped the illegal hill cutting at Amrapali, Junaswada-Mandrem and also issued a stop work order notice to the concerned person under section 64(1)(j) of the Goa Panchayat Raj Act 1994.
The action was initiated based on the complaints made by locals.
