After witnessing some showers in the very first week of March, the day temperatures have been above normal while the nights are still chilly. For the last couple of days, the day temperatures have been hovering between 32 degree Celsius and 34 degree Celsius, above normal.
While the day temperature was 36.6 degree Celsius, four degree above normal, the night temperature was below normal at 20.9 degree Celsius.
For the next 24 hours, IMD has predicted similar temperatures for the State. At the same time, it has predicted rainfall in isolated places on March 14.
